Having already expanded its operations in Turkey with hangars in Istanbul and Bodrum, the company is preparing to bolster its growth targets in the global aviation market with a new 32,000-square-meter site at Milas-Bodrum Airport. The new facility, planned to be operational in 2026, is expected to contribute to Bodrum becoming one of the important aircraft maintenance and repair centers in the region.

More than 300 new jobs will be created The new hangar is planned to be configured for three wide-body aircraft while also providing flexibility for narrow-body aircraft, with the goal of offering maintenance and repair services for both types. The company, which employs 1,500 staff across eight different facilities worldwide and 180 in Turkey, is set to create more than 300 new jobs with this investment.

We aim for Turkey to be the aircraft maintenance hub of the region Kadri Muhiddin, who was previously named CEO of the Year in Aviation in Europe and listed among the top five business leaders by The Business Worldwide in 2024, is recognized globally in the aviation sector for his leadership skills and the vision of his company. Regarding the plans for the new hangar in Bodrum, Muhiddin stated, “Currently, we have a total hangar area of 4,930 square meters in Istanbul and Bodrum. We have the capacity suitable for various aircraft platforms, ranging from medium jets like Dassault and Pilatus to wide-body aircraft such as the Airbus A330 or Boeing B777. In 2024, we performed maintenance on a total of 80 aircraft, including approximately 20 mixed aircraft composed of wide-body commercial and private jets in Turkey. With the new hangar we will build, we will further expand our capacity and contribute to Turkey being one of the important hubs for aircraft maintenance in the region. Turkey is geographically located right in the middle of Europe and the Middle East, and most commercial airlines are required to pass through Turkey. The Turkish market has a vibrant structure for both private and commercial operations, along with a mature aircraft fleet and a good supply network for timely delivery of parts, which is an important opportunity for our new investments and our customers’ satisfaction.”

Investment amount is targeted to triple Having invested a total of $50 million in Turkey to date, the company aims to triple this amount with the upcoming $100 million investment. Turkey's geographic position, along with its skilled workforce and developed aircraft fleet, positions it strategically in the aviation sector. Muhiddin emphasizes that Turkey possesses excellent human resources in terms of professional expertise in aviation and notes that due to its location at the center of Europe and the Middle East, the country serves as a critical transit point for many commercial airlines worldwide.
