Turkish Airlines' Opet Fuel Storage Facility Project Receives 'No EIA Required' Decision

Foreks - THY (IS:THYAO) has received a "No Environmental Impact Assessment Required" decision regarding the planned aviation fuel supply facility project with storage capacity by Opet.

In a statement on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment Permission and Supervision, the following information was provided:

"The PTD File submitted to our Ministry regarding the aviation fuel supply facility project with a storage capacity of 5,312 m3 (Jet A1, Avgas) planned to be constructed by THY OPET AVIATION FUELS INC. in the Karsavran Neighborhood of Tarsus District in Mersin Province, at the Çukurova Airport location, has been examined and evaluated. According to Article 17 of the EIA Regulation, the project has been determined by our Governorship as 'No Environmental Impact Assessment Required'."
