Market Outlook: Stock Exchange Ends the Day with a Decline

The BIST 100 index closed the day down by 45.31 points at 8618.57. According to the Foreks News survey, a closing increase of 24.7 points for the BIST 100 index was expected. The closest forecast in the BIST 100 closing survey conducted by Foreks News was made by Gedik Investment/Hakan Öyken, with a prediction of -48.82 points. The second closest estimate, from A1 Capital/Görkem Özcü, was -60.3 points. The third closest prediction, also from A1 Capital/Rabia Rümeysa Kaplan, was -62.27 points. A total of 43 analysts from various brokerage firms participated in today's Foreks News BIST 100 index closing survey; 27 analysts predicted a positive closing, while 16 analysts forecasted a negative closing.
