Voting Continues in Western States, While Election Results Begin to Emerge in the East

Forex - Voting is ongoing in the U.S. states of California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Hawaii, and Alaska. However, election results are starting to emerge in the Midwestern states. Projections from NBC, Fox, and Edison Research indicate that former President Donald Trump is leading the election.

Considering the states where results can be predicted, Edison Research states that Trump has so far secured 201 electoral delegates, while Kamala Harris has 91. Fox News claims that Trump has 205 and Harris has 117 delegates.

With the states where polls have not yet closed set to provide a total of 87 delegates, the election outcome remains uncertain. A total of 270 delegates is needed to win the election. The final decision will come from results in Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Nebraska's 2nd district, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. In five of these states, Trump is leading, while Harris is ahead in three.
