Decision of 'Environmental Impact Assessment Not Required' Issued for Smart Solar Energy's Integrated Solar Panel Manufacturing Facility and Wafer Process Addition Project

Foreks - Smart Solar Energy (IS:SMRTG) has received a 'No Environmental Impact Assessment Required' decision regarding the planned Integrated Solar Panel Production Facility and Wafer Process Addition project.

In a statement released on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permission and Supervision, the following information was provided:

"The project, which is planned to be implemented by Smart Solar Energy Technologies R&D Production Industry and Trade Inc. in the K18-A.17D cadastral map, parcel number 1, located in Aliağa, İzmir, with an area of 49,998.00 m2, involves the Integrated Solar Panel Production Facility (Increasing the pool capacity from 4,503 m3 to 32,226 m3) and the Wafer Process Addition. The submitted file was reviewed and evaluated, and in accordance with Article 17 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation, it has been decided by our Governorship that 'No Environmental Impact Assessment is Required' for the Integrated Solar Panel Production Facility and Wafer Process Addition project."
