TANKER REPORT - 24 Tankers Await in Black Sea Ports
In the Black Sea ports, there are a total of 24 tankers that represent the first step in reaching the global market for oil arriving via the Istanbul and Çanakkale Straits. According to a report prepared by Tribeca Maritime Services and shared via email, 16 of the tankers are classified as aframax, 6 as suezmax, and 2 as panamax. Considering the tankers that have not yet docked at the ports, the total number of tankers in the Black Sea is said to be 35. The ports in Russia where tankers are currently docking include Novorossiysk, Taman, Kavkaz, Tuapse, and Supsa in Georgia. Of these, 18 tankers are currently docked in Novorossiysk, 3 in Taman, and 3 in Kavkaz, while there are no tankers in Supsa and Tuapse.
