Russia to Retaliate Against NATO Countries Faciliting Long-Range Missile Strikes

Foreks - Russia's foreign intelligence chief Sergei Naryshkin stated that they would retaliate against NATO countries that facilitate long-range missile attacks by Ukraine on Russian territory. Naryshkin said that the changes made by President Vladimir Putin to Russia's nuclear doctrine imply that it is impossible to defeat Russia on the battlefield. In an interview with National Defence magazine, Naryshkin remarked, "Our adversaries are forced to accept that the determination of the President of Russia to firmly defend the country's fundamental interests by all possible means has narrowed the maneuvering space for Washington and Brussels." He added, "The attempts by NATO allies to carry out potential long-range attacks deep into Russian territory with Western weapons will not go unpunished."
