China Issues Stern Response to G7
Mao Ning, the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, firmly stated that they are opposed to the G7 undermining China's sovereignty and interfering in its internal affairs. In a joint statement released at the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting, it was reported that G7 countries are ready to establish constructive and stable relations with China to solve global crises, but China must cut its support to Russia's defense industry. The statement reignited the allegation of "excess production capacity" and made unfounded claims regarding issues such as the East China Sea, South China Sea, Taiwan, Xinjiang, Tibet, and Hong Kong.
During a regular press conference held in Beijing today, Mao mentioned that G7 countries wishing to establish constructive and stable relationships with China should adhere to the principles of mutual respect, equality, and win-win cooperation, and should not attempt to tarnish China's image.
Mao expressed that China has always maintained a neutral stance in resolving the Ukraine crisis, making significant efforts to achieve peace and not providing weapons to the conflicting parties. He also stated that allegations of "excess production capacity" against China have been proven unfounded, and those countries should implement principles of openness and fairness in competition.
Mao added that China has consistently taken a clear stance on issues such as the East China Sea, South China Sea, Taiwan, Xinjiang, Tibet, and Hong Kong, and firmly opposes the G7 undermining the sovereignty of the country and interfering in its internal affairs.
