Three Stocks on Borsa Istanbul to Commence the Day with Precautions

In a decision taken under the Volatility-Based Precautionary System (VBTS), three stocks will start the day with precautions.

In a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was announced that the shares of GRTHO and YAPRK on Borsa Istanbul will not be subject to margin trading from the beginning of the session on November 28, 2024, until the end of the session on December 27, 2024. This decision indicates that investors will have their margin trading options restricted for a month during which these shares will be traded.

While volatility increased for GRTHO shares this week, the stock reached its ceiling prices in the last two sessions and closed the day yesterday with a 4% value increase at 143 TL.

YAPRK shares have been experiencing volatile movements since November 19, closing yesterday with a nearly 8% decline at 487.25 TL.

Precautions for Formet Metal

Borsa Istanbul also announced new precautions for Formet Metal and Glass Industry Inc. (FORMT). In accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the Surveillance Measures Regulation Applicable in Borsa Istanbul A.Ş. Markets, these precautions will be in effect starting from November 28, 2024, for a duration of one month and will end on December 27, 2024.

In addition to a "Prohibition of Margin Trading" for FORMT shares, a "Order Cancellation, Quantity Reduction, and Price Deterioration Prohibition" will also be implemented. The decisions made under the Precautionary Management System aim to regulate the market movements of FORMT shares and increase predictability.

Since October 15, FORMT has maintained an upward trend, gaining 80% in value and rising to the 7 TL range during this period.
