BIST 100 Kicks Off the Day Steady: Which Stocks Stepped into the Spotlight at Opening?
The BIST 100 index started the day flat, with a change of 0.01% at 9,640.57 points.
The BIST 100 recorded a partial increase of 0.04% during yesterday's trading and closed at 9,639.77 points. The index reached a low of 9,618.88 points and a high of 9,744.57 points during the day. In dollar terms, the index is at the level of $277.
Yesterday, a trading volume of 98.9 billion TL was recorded in the BIST 100, which constituted 76% of the total volume. Among the stocks linked to the index, 40 gained value, 56 rose, while 4 remained flat.
As Borsa Istanbul started a new day, the technology, information technology, and paper sectors emerged as the top rising sectors. Meanwhile, food, SMEs, and transportation were the sectors that fell the most at the opening.

Overall, in Borsa Istanbul, alongside PAPIL, stocks such as OTTO and IHLAS were the highest gainers in the early transactions. FORMT, CRDFA, and CASA were observed as the biggest decliners at the opening.
In the domestic foreign exchange market, the dollar/TL started the day with an increase of about 0.1% at 34.65. The euro/TL also rose to 36.65 with a similar momentum, while gold per gram is traded at 2,939 TL, showing a decline of nearly 0.4%.
In international markets, the trend of decline continued in the Chinese markets among the Asian indexes today. While European indexes generally recorded declines in yesterday's trades, the FTSE 100 stood out positively. The US market also moved with a selling trend yesterday. Today, U.S. markets will be closed due to the Thanksgiving holiday, while European and U.S. futures showed positive movements in the morning hours.
