Petkim announced a planned shutdown as part of maintenance
Petkim announced that the major maintenance that is carried out every four years has started at its ethylene and aromatics plants. In a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Petkim stated that planned stoppages will be carried out at various times in the units as part of the maintenance. The planned maintenance stoppage at the ethylene plant, which provides intermediate products to other units and is the most important determinant of production performance, is expected to last approximately 67 days. Petkim made the following statement: “During this period, it is anticipated that our current stocks, primarily polymers, will cover a significant portion of our sales.”
