BMW's New CTO is Joachim Post, Nicolai Martin Joins the Board.

BMW AG's Board of Directors announced leadership changes effective June 1. Joachim Post, currently overseeing Purchasing and Supplier Network, will take over the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) from Frank Weber. Nicolai Martin has been appointed as a Board member responsible for Purchasing and Supplier Network, succeeding Post.

CTO Frank Weber has made significant contributions to BMW, particularly in preparing the NEUE KLASSE project for mass production. Chairman Norbert Reithofer expressed gratitude for Weber's exceptional work and wished him success for the future, while also sharing excitement for the upcoming NEUE KLASSE launch planned for later this year. Nicolai Martin, with a strong background in Industrial Engineering and Economics, has been with BMW since 2004, holding various managerial positions in vehicle development, including driving dynamics and autonomous driving.
