Karsan's CEO, Okan Baş, highlighted that they have accounted for 82% of electric public transport exports from Turkey to Europe over the last five years. In 2024, Karsan achieved eighth place in market ranking and a 4.5% market share in Europe, making significant strides in countries like Italy, Romania, and Switzerland. Karsan's e-ATAK and e-JEST models have maintained leadership in their segments for five consecutive years.
Looking ahead to 2025, Karsan aims to position itself as a key player in the electric public transport market, targeting a 30% growth with 700 electric vehicle sales and an electric vehicle fleet of 2,200 units globally. The company also plans to diversify its product range in electric, autonomous, and hydrogen technologies, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility solutions.
