The second circuit breaker was activated on Borsa Istanbul.

Trading on Borsa Istanbul resumed at 11:22, but when the decline reached 7%, the second circuit breaker was triggered. The index halted at 9,123 points.

In a statement, it was noted, "As of 11:27:14, the Index-Based Circuit Breaker System has been activated. All transactions in the equity market of our stock exchange, as well as contracts based on stocks and stock indices in the Futures and Options Market, and transactions in the Debt Instruments Market's Repo Market have been temporarily suspended."
