The number of foreign visitors to Turkey decreased by 5.34% in February.

In February, the number of foreigners visiting Turkey decreased by 5.34% compared to the same month last year, totaling 2,171,942 visitors, according to preliminary data released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the General Directorate of Security.

The top five provinces where foreign visitors entered the country were as follows: Istanbul (57.80%), Edirne (10.60%), Antalya (9.47%), Artvin (3.48%), and Hakkari (2.89%). During the January-February period of 2025, there was a slight increase of 0.03% in the number of foreign visitors compared to the same period last year, reaching 4,343,060. The leading provinces for visitor entries during this period remained the same: Istanbul (58.12%), Edirne (10.73%), Antalya (8.58%), Artvin (4.03%), and Hakkari (2.88%).
