MARKET OVERVIEW - The stock market closed the day with a rapid decline.

The BIST 100 index closed the day down by 766.3 points at 9044.64, according to Foreks. The ForInvest News survey had anticipated a decline of 510.94 points for the index's closing. The closest prediction came from InvestAZ/Ayberk Vatansever, estimating a drop of 750.1 points. The second closest forecast was from InvestAZ Yatırım/Öykü Gündoğdu, projecting a decline of 785.35 points, while Trive Yatırım/Orhan Sokur predicted a drop of 790.0 points.

In today's ForInvest News BIST 100 closing survey, 23 analysts participated; 5 analysts predicted a positive closing, while 18 analysts forecasted a negative outcome.
