Google has introduced an AI-powered search feature in Gmail for faster and more relevant results.
Investing.com — Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) has revamped its search feature in Gmail to help users find their desired emails faster. The new AI-powered search is designed to quickly display the most relevant results.
Previously, Gmail's search function displayed emails based on chronological order and keywords. However, the latest update takes into account factors such as the recency of emails, frequently clicked messages, and often contacted individuals. This enhancement aims to save users time by positioning the emails they are searching for at the top of search results, making it easier to access important information. The "most relevant" search results are currently available worldwide for users with personal Google accounts, accessible via the web and the official Gmail app on Android and iOS devices. After activation in a user's account, they can switch between "most relevant" and "newest" results. Google plans to extend this feature to business users in the future.
