Bolat: We aim to further increase our trade volume with Bulgaria to $7.8 billion.

Foreks - Trade Minister Ömer Bolat stated that they aim to further increase the trade volume with Bulgaria, which currently stands at $7.8 billion, as well as diversify mutual investments and projects.

In a statement made via X, Minister Bolat highlighted his presence in Sofia today with exporters and the business community. "During our visit, we held the Turkey-Bulgaria Trade Delegation and B2B Meeting alongside Bulgaria’s Minister of Economy and Industry, Mr. Peter Dilov. At this meeting, organized by TİM and BULTİŞAD, we discussed existing collaboration opportunities, steps to enhance our bilateral trade volume, and projects that our business communities can jointly implement. As Turkey, we wish to strengthen our cooperation with our friendly neighbor Bulgaria in all areas, including commercial and economic," he noted. Bolat expressed his belief that today's meeting would further strengthen bilateral relations.
