Yılmaz: There has been a noticeable loss in reserves.
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz remarked, "Recently, we have observed efforts to create an image of chaos and a sense of instability. The resulting turmoil and security issues have unfortunately impacted the economy to some extent. Everyone needs to consider the economy of this country."
In an interview with Habertürk TV's General Manager Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Bloomberg HT's General Manager Alican Türkoğlu, and Habertürk TV presenter Sena Alkan, Yılmaz acknowledged, "It is evident that there has been a certain loss in reserves. Our Central Bank and the Capital Markets Board have taken some necessary proactive measures. These are temporary, let's say for 3-5 days. This period will naturally have some impact. There may be a slight increase in the exchange rate, with expectations showing a 1-2 point elasticity."
