Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the United States has proposed a new critical minerals agreement that goes far beyond the initial framework deal made last month as part of Donald Trump's efforts to end Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

In a statement to reporters, Zelensky mentioned that he has not yet fully reviewed the proposal, but clarified that, contrary to Trump's suggestion last week, it does not involve increased U.S. involvement in Ukraine's nuclear energy sector. The Ukrainian President described the U.S. offer as a "major and comprehensive agreement."
