Gökçen Yaman Akgün, General Manager of Ziraat Portfolio Management, has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of TKYD.

Gökçen Yaman Akgün has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Institutional Investors Association (TKYD) for a two-year term. The election, held during the 25th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of TKYD, also saw the reappointment of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee members for the same period.

Akgün expressed gratitude to past presidents and board members for their valuable contributions to the portfolio management sector. He noted the increasing interest of savers in investment funds with a long-term perspective and emphasized the growing significance of Venture Capital Investment Funds and Real Estate Investment Funds in financing the real economy and supporting the country’s growth. Akgün anticipates continued growth in the sector, driven by increased product diversity and the effective use of the Turkish Electronic Fund Distribution Platform (TEFAS).
