A 'No EIA Required' decision has been made regarding Koza Altın's Open Pit Mining Project.

Foreks - A 'No Environmental Impact Assessment Required' decision has been made regarding the Open-Pit Gold Mine Project planned by Koza Altın (IS:KOZAL).

In a statement released on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permission and Supervision, it was noted: "The PTD File submitted to our Ministry concerning the Open-Pit Gold Mine Project with License No. S:200701029, planned by Koza Altın İşletmeleri A.Ş. in the Yaylalar Village locality of Yusufeli district, Artvin province, has been reviewed and evaluated. According to Article 17 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation, the decision of 'No Environmental Impact Assessment Required' has been granted by our Governorship for the Open-Pit Gold Mine Project with License No. S:200701029."
