Foreks - A decision has been made regarding the Silver-Copper Mine Open-Pit Operation project planned by Koza Altın (IS:KOZAL) stating that an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is not required.

According to a statement on the website of the General Directorate of EIA Permissions and Inspections, the submitted EIA dossier for the Silver-Copper Mine Open-Pit Operation project, registered under License No: S:200900850, was reviewed and evaluated. In accordance with Article 17 of the EIA Regulation, the Provincial Administration has determined that an Environmental Impact Assessment is not necessary for the Silver-Copper Mine Open-Pit Operation project in the Yaylalar Village area of Yusufeli, Artvin province.
