Istanbul Stock Exchange started the day with an increase: Which stocks stood out at the opening?

The BIST 100 index started the day with a 1.30% increase, reaching 9,774.58 points. Following initial buying, the rise gained momentum, with the index nearing a 2% increase. In previous trading, the BIST 100 index closed at 9,649.53 points, down by 0.68%. During the day, it fluctuated between a low of 9,566.80 and a high of 9,749.43 points, with its dollar-based value recorded at $253.96.

Sector-wise, 23 indices closed positively while 42 remained in negative territory. The factoring index saw the highest increase at 5.26%, while the insurance index experienced the largest drop at 2.76%. Of the 100 stocks traded in the BIST 100, 37 gained value while 60 saw declines, with a trading volume of 130.1 billion TL, accounting for 78.30% of the total market trading volume.
