Macron met with Trump ahead of the upcoming Ukraine meeting in Europe.

According to a statement made by the French Presidency on Thursday, French President Emmanuel Macron spoke with U.S. President Donald Trump ahead of a meeting that will include approximately 30 countries, alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The meeting, co-hosted by Macron and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, will address the strengthening of military support for Ukraine and discuss the future role of Ukraine's allies in ensuring security if a peace agreement is reached with Russia.
