The Treasury and Finance Ministry's Privatization Administration has opened a tender for the privatization of the "Construction, Maintenance, and Operation Services of Vehicle Inspection Stations in Region 1 and Region 2" through the granting of concession rights.

According to the announcement published in the Official Gazette, these services will be privatized for 20 years under the provisions of Law No. 4046 on Privatization Practices, through the method of granting concession rights categorized under "other legal disposals according to the nature of the work".

A provisional guarantee fee has been set at $15 million for each region separately. The tender specification fee will be 750,000 TL for each region.

The tender will be conducted using a "negotiation procedure" by receiving offers in sealed envelopes from multiple bidders and conducting negotiations. It will conclude with an auction attended by the bidders who proceed with negotiation discussions.

The final date for submitting bids has been set for January 10, 2025.
