Intriguing Tender Announced: Privatization of Vehicle Inspection Services in Two Regions by ÖİB

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance's Privatization Administration (PA) has issued a tender for the privatization of "Construction, Maintenance, and Operation Services of Vehicle Inspection Stations in Region 1 and Region 2." The announcement was published in the Official Gazette. According to the details, these services will be privatized for a duration of 20 years through a concession under the provisions of the Law No. 4046 on Privatization Practices, following the method of “other legal acts appropriate to the nature of the work.” The provisional guarantee for the tender is set at $15 million for each region separately. The tender specification fee is set at 750,000 TL each. The tender will be conducted through a “negotiated procedure” by receiving bids in sealed envelopes from multiple bidders and engaging in negotiations. It will be finalized through an open auction with the participation of bidders who continue in the negotiation phase. The deadline for submitting bids is January 10, 2025.
