"Surge in Newly Registered Vehicles Hits the Roads!"

In September, motorcycles constituted 56.8% of the newly registered vehicles, cars 29.5%, vans 7.9%, tractors 2.9%, trucks 1.6%, minibuses 0.9%, buses 0.3%, and special purpose vehicles 0.1%.

According to a statement, the number of vehicles registered in September increased by 28.4% for minibuses, 5.2% for tractors, and 4.3% for motorcycles compared to the previous month, while it decreased by 52.4% for special purpose vehicles, 17.1% for buses, 5.3% for cars, 4.8% for vans, and 1.7% for trucks.

The number of registered vehicles increased by 6.9% compared to the same month last year. In September, the number of registered vehicles rose by 54.2% for minibuses, 27.4% for motorcycles, and 16.6% for buses, while it decreased by 31.6% for special purpose vehicles, 15.9% for tractors, 14.9% for cars, 3.8% for trucks, and 3.7% for vans compared to the previous year.

As of the end of September, the total number of registered vehicles reached 30,678,293. Of these, 52.0% were cars, 19.6% motorcycles, 15.2% vans, 7.3% tractors, 3.2% trucks, 1.7% minibuses, 0.7% buses, and 0.3% special purpose vehicles.

In September, 992,171 vehicles were transferred. Of these transferred vehicles, 66.4% were cars, 14.8% vans, 11.5% motorcycles, 2.8% tractors, 1.9% minibuses, 1.9% trucks, 0.5% buses, and 0.2% special purpose vehicles.

In September, registrations for 62,677 cars were completed. The newly registered cars comprised 12.0% Renault, 8.9% Fiat, 6.6% Volkswagen, 5.5% Toyota, 5.5% Hyundai, 5.5% Opel, 4.9% Skoda, 4.6% Mercedes-Benz, 4.5% Peugeot, 4.0% BMW, 3.6% Citroen, 3.5% Dacia, 3.3% Nissan, 3.1% Kia, 3.1% Honda, 2.9% Chery, 2.3% Ford, 1.8% Audi, 1.3% Volvo, 1.1% Mini, and 11.9% other brands.

From January to September, 1,961,456 vehicles were registered. The number of registered vehicles increased by 13.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 1,961,456, while the number of deregistered vehicles increased by 2.1% to 22,962. Thus, there was a net increase of 1,938,494 vehicles on the roads during this period.

In this period, 63.1% of the 746,595 cars registered were petrol-fueled. Among these newly registered cars, 63.1% used petrol, 14.6% hybrid, 12.4% diesel, 8.8% electric, and 1.1% LPG. As of the end of September, of the 15,963,660 registered cars, 34.6% were diesel, 32.3% LPG, 30.0% petrol, 2.1% hybrid, and 0.9% electric. Unknown fuel type cars constituted 0.2%.

During the January-September period, the majority of registrations were for cars with engine sizes of 1300cc or less, representing 32.6% of the 746,595 newly registered cars. For the same period, 22.1% of cars had an engine capacity of 1401-1500cc, 16.7% were 1301-1400cc, 12.9% were 1501-1600cc, 6.3% were 1601-2000cc, and 0.7% were over 2001cc.

Regarding color preference, 38.7% of the newly registered cars were gray, 25.8% white, 13.0% black, 11.1% blue, 6.0% red, 2.9% green, 0.8% orange, 0.8% yellow, 0.5% brown, and 0.4% in other colors.
