Swedish defense company Saab reported third-quarter operating profit that exceeded analysts' expectations, indicating a positive trend in its financial performance. The company announced an operating profit of 1.19 billion Swedish kronor (approximately $112.8 million) on Tuesday. This figure surpasses last year's 859 million kronor and exceeds analysts' forecast of 1.14 billion kronor.

The company expects organic sales growth of 15-20% for 2024, with operating profit anticipated to increase more significantly.

In a more optimistic update, Saab stated that they expect organic sales growth to reach the upper end of the projected range. This outlook aligns with rising defense spending by countries and increasing demand for military equipment.
