Headline: Which Stocks Yielded the Highest Returns on Borsa Istanbul Today?

The BIST 100 index moved predominantly upward today, starting positively before dipping below 8,700 points. It later surged to the 8,910 band due to strong buying. In the last hour, the index was trading near 8,850 points, reflecting a 2% increase. The rise was mainly driven by BIST 30, while indices outside BIST 100 saw a 1.2% increase near closing. Positive political developments were reflected in today's trading on BIST.

Currently, no sector is down on Borsa Istanbul, with construction, communication, and banking being the top-performing sectors. The SMEs and metal sectors showed slightly positive sideways movement. The top five gainers in the BIST 100 nearing the close were EUPWR, ALFAS, SMRTG, TKFEN, and CWENE. The biggest decliners were BRYAT, ODAS, MPARK, BRSAN, and PAPIL. Across Borsa Istanbul, KAPLM and BRLSM shares, along with EUPWR, were major gainers. Conversely, DIRIT, SAFKR, and GZNMI were the leading decliners.

In the domestic foreign exchange markets, USD/TRY remained stable at 34.23, while EUR/TRY saw a slight decline to 37.04. Gold prices continued to rise, with gram gold increasing by 0.77%, trading at 3,016 TRY in the last hour.

In international markets, Chinese indices in Asia closed positively. European stocks were mostly down, except for the CAC 40 and Euro Stoxx 50. U.S. indices began the day with a selling trend.
