Karsan, one of Turkey's leading public transport vehicle manufacturers, is preparing to operate directly in the Spanish market by acquiring 100% of its representative E-buskar. The company aims to strengthen its position in the electric public transport sector by expanding its sales, after-sales services, and dealership network in Spain.

Karsan is reinforcing its presence in Europe in terms of technology and service. In line with its vision of being "One Step Ahead in the Future of Mobility," the company outlined its strategic objectives for the Spanish market at the FIAA International Bus and Coach Trade Fair held in Madrid. Highlighting its innovative vehicles such as the e-JEST, Autonomous e-ATAK, and e-ATA HYDROGEN at the show, Karsan also announced its new restructuring plan in Spain. The decision to operate directly under its own structure demonstrates the company's determination to strengthen its presence in Spain.

Deniz Çetin, Karsan’s Deputy General Manager of Commercial Affairs, stated, "We aim to achieve sustainable success by strengthening our new structuring in the Spanish market. Our goal is to become one of the leading players in Spain, as we have in other European markets." Çetin also expressed plans to expand the scope of sales and after-sales services and to enhance strategic collaborations with dealer networks in the region.

Karsan's acquisition plans include dividing its operations into four main regions across cities like Madrid, Barcelona, and Malaga. The company plans to establish 27 different service points across Spain to extend its customer-focused service approach nationwide. Currently serving in 19 cities, Karsan aims to deliver its first fleet of 12-meter e-ATA buses to the city of Sabadel by the end of the year and increase the number of electric vehicles in the country to 41.

With this new structuring in Spain, Karsan intends to bring its experiences from successful markets in Europe to Spain, aiming to become a leading brand in electric public transportation.
