Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi: BRICS is Increasingly Becoming a Global Powerhouse

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated, "BRICS is increasingly becoming a new global pole, a group of countries coming together to challenge the Western world order." During the summit, where BRICS participated as an official member for the first time, Araghchi highlighted that BRICS member countries are developing and organizing mechanisms and methods to liberate the world from the West's monopoly. He noted, "These mechanisms are in both political and security domains, mostly in economic and financial areas. In the economic sphere, BRICS has established a new development bank."
