Tanker Report: Black Sea Ports Host 30 Vessels
There are a total of 30 tankers in the Black Sea ports, which serve as the initial gateway for oil reaching the world through the Istanbul and Çanakkale Straits. According to a report compiled by Tribeca Shipping Services, 14 of these tankers are of the Aframax type, 14 are Suezmax, and 2 are Panamax. Considering tankers that have not yet docked at the ports, the total number of tankers in the Black Sea is indicated to be 42. The ports in the Black Sea where tankers are docked include Russia's Novorossiysk, Taman, Kavkaz, Tuapse, and Georgia's Supsa. Of these, 24 tankers are docked in Novorossiysk, 4 in Taman, and 2 in Kavkaz. There are no tankers currently in Tuapse and Supsa.
