Amid intensifying competition in the world's largest smartphone market, Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone sales in China fell by 0.3%. Huawei, on the other hand, recorded a 42% increase in sales in the third quarter of 2024. According to data released by IDC, Apple experienced a 0.5 percentage point decline compared to the previous year but still secured the second spot with a 15.6% market share. Meanwhile, Huawei saw a 4.2 percentage point increase, boosting its market share to 15.3% and taking the third position. Vivo emerged as the top-selling company in China with an 18.6% market share. In the third quarter, smartphone sales in China rose by 3.2%, reaching 68.78 million units.
