Companies listed on Borsa İstanbul continue to take steps towards export. Aselsan (ASELS) is exporting radar systems to the Asia-Pacific region, while Turkcell (TCELL) is expanding its environmentally friendly projects with a green loan for sustainable energy investments. Meanwhile, Aksa Akrilik (AKSA) is investing in aerospace, while Aksa Enerji (AKSEN) is enhancing its influence in the region by increasing capacity in Uzbekistan.

Aselsan and Havelsan's Exports to the Asia-Pacific Turkey’s defense industry giants Aselsan and Havelsan have signed a contract to export radar and friend-or-foe identification systems worth a total of $68 million to an Asia-Pacific country. This agreement reinforces Turkey's defense industry's achievements in the international market. Aselsan and Havelsan aim to contribute to the security systems of these countries with their integrated solutions.

Mia Teknoloji’s Innovative Object Recognition Project Mia Teknoloji (MIATK) will develop an object recognition system approved by Gazi University Technopark Management. Using TensorFlow Lite and YOLO technologies, the project ensures low energy consumption and high efficiency on mobile devices. The project aims to achieve significant innovations in areas such as augmented reality (AR) applications, mobile games, industrial tracking, and agricultural analysis, with a budget of 3.7 million TL and a completion timeline of 18 months. Of the total 22 projects carried out in cooperation with TÜBİTAK and the Technopark in AR/VR projects, 12 have been completed, while work is ongoing on 10 others. According to a report by Fortune Business, the global augmented reality market reached $93 billion in 2024, up from $62 billion in 2023.

Turkcell Invests €50 Million in Green Energy Turkcell has secured a green loan worth €50 million through an agreement with Türkiye Kalkınma ve Yatırım (KLNMA) Bank, with plans to invest in sustainable energy projects. Turkcell's Deputy General Manager Responsible for Finance, Kamil Kalyon, noted that the loan has a maturity of 6 years, emphasizing Turkcell’s environmentally friendly approach. It was stated that the loan will be used for projects within the scope of self-consumption investments.

Aksa Akrilik Acquires Shares in Epsilon Kompozit Aksa Akrilik has reached an agreement to purchase a 54% stake in Epsilon Kompozit, which produces high-tech composite parts for the aerospace, space, and defense industries, for $22.3 million. Aksa Akrilik's strategic step is viewed as a development aimed at strengthening its position in the global market and contributing to the national economy.

Aksa Enerji Increases Capacity in Uzbekistan Aksa Enerji has modernized its Tashkent B and Bukhara gas power plants in Uzbekistan, raising its total capacity from 500 MW to 550 MW. After the modernization process conducted in collaboration with the Finnish energy solutions company Wartsila, Aksa Enerji's total active installed capacity in the region reached 790 MW from 740 MW. This move represents a significant step towards increasing Aksa Enerji's energy production capacity in the region and enhancing its effectiveness.
