Lightman: Clear Criteria for Minimum Wage; Protecting Against Inflation
The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, has made evaluations regarding working life in the economy. Işıkhan stated that various models are being examined in relation to new generation working models, which the labor side is approaching with caution, and said, “We will take steps with the consensus of both workers and employers in new generation working models.” Minister Işıkhan also announced that they will maintain the criterion of “not allowing workers to be crushed by inflation” in the minimum wage increase, which is critical for both workers and employers, just as has been the case until now.
