The South Korean Central Bank kept the benchmark interest rate unchanged at 3.50 percent. The South Korean Central Bank (BoK) did not make any changes to the interest rate as expected by the markets. According to the statement made by the bank, the benchmark interest rate remained at 3.50 percent. The bank had increased the interest rate by 25 basis points at its previous meeting. The country's inflation was last announced as 5.2 percent.
