Apple opens its first store in India
Apple has opened its first store in Mumbai, India. Apple CEO Tim Cook also attended the opening. Apple, which continues its operations in India online and through authorized resellers, has opened its first store in Mumbai, India. Apple CEO Tim Cook performed the opening. Customers who wanted to buy Apple products from the store were seen queuing up outside the night before. Around 300 people formed a line in front of the store to have their pictures taken with Cook. Cook said on Twitter, "The energy, creativity and passion in Mumbai is incredible! We are so excited to open our first store in India."
