The technology index is starting the week calmly ahead of the critical FOMC minutes that will determine the course of interest rates. Interest-sensitive technology stocks will find their direction for the remainder of the week based on the "hawkish" or "dovish" tones in the minutes to be released on Wednesday evening. The manufacturing and services PMI data released later in the week will also provide important signals regarding the health of economic activity.
