Yumaklı: The goal is to provide structural transformation in agriculture

Kireşci stated that important regulations have been put into practice in areas such as forestry, which require special attention. Expressing that they have been working successfully together with Kirişci, from whom he will proudly take over today, for 14 months, İbrahim Yumaklı stated that his primary goal from now on will be to quickly complete the successful projects that have been initiated. Yumaklı stated that there will be important work to be done regarding the protection of forest and water resources. Yumaklı conveyed that they will complete this structural transformation with women and young farmers devoted to agriculture. Describing the roadmap as implementing structural reforms at every stage from production to consumption, Yumaklı underlined that localization steps will be taken by reducing external dependency on agricultural inputs. Emphasizing that the century of agriculture and producers has also begun with the century of Turkey, Yumaklı stated that they set out to ensure that consumers access safe food at reasonable prices, based on food safety. Yumaklı stated that the essence of the agricultural policy was determined as strengthening the producer and protecting the consumer.
