Aras Cargo acquired a company in Azerbaijan
Aras Cargo has purchased 75 percent of the shares of Star Express, one of the cargo companies in Azerbaijan that provides services under the Starex brand, and has started to provide cargo services in Azerbaijan with Aras Global. Aiming to increase its effectiveness in the global market, Aras Cargo has entered the Central Asian market by purchasing a company in Azerbaijan. It has purchased 75 percent of the shares of Star Express, one of the important cargo companies in Azerbaijan, and has started to provide cargo services in Azerbaijan with Aras Global. Aras Cargo General Manager Utku Ayyarkın evaluated the new investment as follows: "With the Starex brand, which is the first investment of our new formation Aras Global, we are not only increasing our role in the international arena, but also carrying companies and entrepreneurs from Turkey to the Central Asian market. Following this international investment, we plan to start operations in another Turkic Republic with our own brand by the end of this year. With these investments, we will have taken an important step on the path that will first reach Europe, then the Middle East and America as one of the leading players in the global sector, starting from the Turkic Republics."
