Contribution of 27.4 billion liras to the Treasury from real estate transactions
Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki announced that a contribution of 27.4 billion liras was provided to the Treasury through all transactions on real estate in the first 6 months of this year, and that the contribution of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre to the Treasury in the last 2.5 years has reached approximately 96 billion liras. The statement made by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change also included the evaluations of Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Özhaseki. Özhaseki emphasized that a significant contribution has been made to the Treasury thanks to the transactions carried out on real estate in the units of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre in the last 2 years and noted the following: "In 2021, 24 billion 896 million 843 thousand 26 liras of fee was collected. In 2022, this figure became 43 billion 583 million 849 thousand 955 liras, and 27 billion 414 million 354 thousand 497 liras until June 2023. A total figure of 95 billion 895 million 47 thousand 478 liras has been reflected in the Treasury since 2021."
