The number of people on the Forbes Billionaires List, an American business magazine, rose to 2,781 this year, while the total wealth of billionaires reached 14.2 trillion dollars. Bernard Arnault, CEO of luxury goods giant LVMH, became the richest person in the world for the second time with a fortune of 233 billion dollars, while 27 names from Turkey were on the list this year. Murat Ülker, a member of the Board of Directors of Yıldız Holding, ranked 597th on the list as the richest person in Turkey with a fortune of 5.1 billion dollars. The number of people on the Forbes Billionaires List, an American business magazine, rose to 2,781 this year, while the total wealth of billionaires reached 14.2 trillion dollars. This country was followed by China with 473 billionaires and India with 200 billionaires. Artificial intelligence increased the wealth of technology billionaires While the intense demand for artificial intelligence generally supports the rise in technology stocks, it also increased the total wealth of technology billionaires by approximately $750 billion in just one year, bringing it to $2.6 trillion. The demand for artificial intelligence has helped add many people working in the field to the list, including Super Micro Computer CEO Charles Liang, Advanced Micro Device CEO Lisa Su, and Nvidia Board Member Harvey Jones. Yıldız Holding Board Member Murat Ülker is the richest person in Turkey with a fortune of $5.1 billion, ranked 597th on the list. Ülker was followed by Kazancı Holding Board Chairman Cemil Kazancı with a fortune of $3.5 billion, Koç Holding Board Member İpek Kıraç with a fortune of $3.1 billion, Koç Holding Board Member Semahat Arsel with a fortune of $3 billion, and Erdemoğlu Holding Board Chairman İbrahim Erdemoğlu with a fortune of $2.8 billion. Baykar Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar, who broke the income tax record in 2021 and 2022, and Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar, who is in second place on the tax list, are the new names that joined Forbes' list this year.
