Future plans of Apple and Google

Apple is exploring entering the “personal robotics” space, which has the potential to be the “next big thing.” According to sources familiar with the matter, Apple engineers are working on developing robotic home appliances. The sources stated that Apple is developing an advanced desktop home appliance that uses robotics technology. It is stated that the project is in the early stages and it is not yet certain that it will result in a product that can be released to the market. Apple ended its electric car project in February. On the other hand, Google is pursuing a step that will mean a major change in its business model. According to the Financial Times, Google is considering offering search services supported by artificial intelligence as a premium for a fee. Google’s search engine business has been offered to users for free, supported by advertising revenues until now. Neither piece of news helped the companies’ shares. While Apple erased its daily gain of nearly 1%, Google’s parent company Alphabet shares fell by as much as 1% in the futures market.
