US futures indexes are slightly down ahead of the Wall Street opening.

Foreks - As Wall Street approaches opening, U.S. futures are trading sideways, slightly lower. The uncertainty surrounding Trump's actions on tariffs, expected on April 2, is leading investors to remain cautious, which has confined futures to a narrow range.

Michael Brown, a strategist at Pepperstone Group, stated, "The uncertainty on the tariff front remains absurdly high, making it incredibly difficult for businesses or consumers to plan beyond a day and rendering it nearly impossible for market participants to price in risk." Currently, the S&P 500 futures are down 0.03%, while the Nasdaq 100 futures have declined by 0.13%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up by 0.07%.
