Elon Musk is preparing to sue Microsoft
Twitter CEO Elon Musk has announced that he will sue Microsoft, which he accuses of using his social media platform’s data without permission. According to the BBC, Musk responded to Microsoft’s post on Twitter that it would remove Twitter from its corporate advertising platform with the words, “They received illegal training using Twitter data. It’s time for a lawsuit.” However, Musk did not share any evidence or details to support his claim. In a separate post, Musk stated that he was open to ideas about discussing Twitter data, but that plundering Twitter’s database, demonizing it by removing ads, and then selling the data to others was not a winning solution. Microsoft, on the other hand, refused to answer questions about the subject. Microsoft had previously announced that its advertising platform would no longer support Twitter as of April 25. As a result, ad buyers would not be able to access their Twitter accounts through Microsoft’s social media management tool.
