Kardemir to hire 300 workers in August
Karabük Iron and Steel Factories (Kardemir) announced that 300 of the 600 worker recruitments announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be made in August. Kardemir made a statement on its website regarding the start-up process of 300 of the 600 workers that President Erdoğan announced in his May 1 message to be hired by Kardemir, Turkey's first integrated heavy industry establishment. The statement, which stated that 300 blue-collar personnel to be employed in the factory will start work in August, noted that the recruitments will be made in stages and that 600 personnel will be hired by the company by the end of the year. The statement, which conveyed that a total of 300 workers will be employed in the factory as electrical, machinery and general workers as of August, said, "Applications for the 300 people to be employed in worker status will be made to the İŞKUR Karabük Provincial Directorate as of July 3. Candidates must complete their application procedures by 23:59 on July 23."
