Rivian delivers 12,640 units in Q2
Electric vehicle company Rivian produced 13,992 electric vehicles and delivered 12,640 vehicles at its manufacturing facility in Illinois, US. The company announced a nearly threefold increase in deliveries compared to the same period last year, when electric vehicle supply chain issues were intense. Rivian also announced that it will report its second-quarter 2023 financial results on August 8. US-based electric vehicle maker Rivian produced 13,992 electric vehicles in the second quarter. The company also delivered 12,640 electric vehicles in the second quarter. Sales data from its manufacturing facility in Normal, Illinois, show a nearly threefold increase in deliveries compared to the same period last year, when electric vehicle supply chain issues were intense. These figures continue to be in line with the company’s expectations. The company also announced that it will report its second-quarter 2023 financial results on August 8. Electric vehicle maker Rivian Automotive announced that it has agreed to use Tesla’s charging standard for its customers to use the Tesla Supercharger network. Rivian Automotive expects customers to be able to use 12,000 Tesla Supercharger charging stations in the U.S. and Canada by spring 2024.
