OYDER President: We shared the difficulties in accessing credit for consumers with Nebati

The President of the Automotive Authorized Dealers Association (OYDER), Altuğ Erciş, evaluated the meeting with the Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati. Minister of Treasury and Finance Nebati met with OYDER representatives yesterday. During the meeting attended by OYDER President Erciş and the accompanying Board Members, they exchanged ideas regarding the sector, and the tax base regulation in automobiles also came to the agenda. OYDER President Erciş, whose views were included in the statement made by OYDER regarding the meeting, stated that as the OYDER Board of Directors, they visited the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, as they do at every possible opportunity, to discuss issues regarding the sector. Expressing that they had the opportunity to convey the problems related to the sector on the occasion of the meeting, Erciş noted the following: "First of all, we conveyed our request for the tax base update, which has not been made since January, to be implemented as soon as possible. We also conveyed the difficulties experienced by consumers in accessing credit in automobile purchases to our Minister Nureddin Nebati and shared our sectoral problems. They conveyed that they knew that the tax base update had become a necessity, that work was being done on this issue and that the issue would be concluded as soon as possible. In addition, they stated that they would continue to work on the other problems mentioned and take steps that would ease the sector. We would like to thank our Minister for evaluating our problems positively, for being closely interested in our sector and for making efforts to find urgent solutions to our problems." According to the information obtained by AA, Minister Nebati stated that the final stage had been reached in the tax base regulation for automobiles during the meeting and that the application would be implemented as of December 1. Nebati, in his post about the meeting on his social media account, said, "In addition to the consultation-oriented opinions and suggestions, we comprehensively discussed the outputs of the applications we put into effect."
