Constitutional Court rejects request for annulment of e-Commerce Law

The Constitutional Court rejected the request to annul and stay the execution of some provisions of the law known to the public as the "e-commerce law". The Constitutional Court, which considered the request to annul some provisions of Law No. 7416, which made some amendments to Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, in the General Assembly, ruled to reject the request for annulment. Among the articles requested to be annulled were the obligations of the electronic commerce intermediary service provider and provisions regarding the electronic commerce license. The reasoning behind the Constitutional Court's decision will be written later.
